LCWS is thrilled to be working with these wonderful organizations on our initiatives. Over the years, we have been supported by them through donations, pro bono services, and outreach. We look forward to many more years of collaboration.

Living Green Project  – Established in 1998, the LGP began as a humble project by BC residents to work towards a healthier, greener, and more vibrant community in Canada. You can learn how to protect your property and prevent erosion in their monthly workshops.

Nature Society of BC – This group was established by a group of university students in the 1990s and has now evolved into its own nonprofit organization. The Nature Society of BC’s activities involve the collection of data, mapping, and surveys mainly of wooded areas on BC’s islands.

Greenwall Accountants – Since the beginning of LCWS, Greenwall Accountants have been an instrumental part in our back office. The accounting firm is known for their contributions to grassroots organizations. LCWS receives support from them ranging from pro bono accounting services to consultancy.

Bread Machine Pros – BMP blogs about the best rated bread machines online. As a supporter of environmental conservation, they have donated 10 bread machines to us for use in our volunteering outings and events. Note: interested bakers should review bread machine ratings before making a purchase using their helpful blog.

The Dugout – The Dugout restaurant hosts LCWS events, meetings, and other special occasions. What makes The Dugout special is their sustainable menu. They source their products from environmentally friendly suppliers.

Abbotsford Parks Association – The APA manages all parks and public outdoor spaces in Abbotsford, and helps coordinate LCWS activities.

Community Water Alliance – Whether it’s ravines, rivers, lakes, or streams, the CWA is responsible for maintaining the pristine state of waters in the province of British Columbia. It is a volunteer group managed by a 10-person committee. Their activities, much like LCWS, involve regular garbage pickup, measuring and monitoring water quality, and wildlife care.
