Save the Little Campbell Committee
Our committee is a group of concerned individuals and community groups that are devoted to
ensuring the sustainable development of the City of Surrey’s Campbell Heights development, formerly “Stokes Pit”. This committee
was formed because of concerns about the development of Phase I of Campbell Heights.
Development affects fish and wildlife but
it also affects human health. Many groundwater issues are associated with development like quantity, turbidity and odour, residents
around development sites that depend on well water need to be concerned about the quality and quantity of their drinking water.
The
Little Campbell Watershed needs to be saved! As home to countless numbers of wildlife, salmon and unique habitats the Little
Campbell River is a jewel that must be preserved through sustainable developmental practices.
